INSHORE REPORT:

Throughout the week, the stripe bass and blue fishing has been action packed. Most of the Stripers are still schoolies 6-10 pounds with some of the larger fish around 15-25 pounds. There are quite a few large porgies around as well, keep in mind thought that until September 1, 2009 the limit per person is 10 per man. The fluke fishing has continued to be very good off the Point. There are still a good number of large fish around and with good weather this coming holiday weekend, we expect to see some nice fish hit the deck. For those of you fishing in Montauk this weekend, there is a slight chance of showers on Saturday, so make sure you have some foul weather gear handy, just in case. There will be light winds out of the north around 1o kts on Saturday and will be shifting around to the south Sunday to Monday.
